Most of us spend too much of our lives unhappy. We are caught in the trap of measuring our current status against an idealized version of ourselves and who we should be. Dan Sullivan and Dr. Benjamin Tracy have written an amazing book that helps us see the folly of this approach to life. They share how our ideals and goals should be the motivating force that drives us to become better versions of ourselves but that we should always measure our success, not in relation to our ideal, but rather against where we’ve come from. This is the essence of the GAP and the GAIN.
