Complete Breakfast Smoothie

Are you ever running late to get out of the house in the morning? Well you might be forgetting breakfast, and my Grandma taught me that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I believe she was right, but did you know that having a balanced breakfast is even more important?

Protein, healthy fat and carbohydrates create a balanced meal.

Protein provides you with building blocks to repair and build body tissues and to produce hormones and enzymes that keep your body functioning. Healthy fats give you energy and help your brain stay active and alert and to help balance hormones. Carbohydrates give you essential vitamins and minerals that fuel your body. When you eat complete breakfast you will feel full longer and have sustained energy until your next meal.

Protein: Almond milk, almond butter
