This Double Rainbow smoothie is the perfect recipe for Glowing Skin!
Let’s break down the ingredients so that you can see why it’s so great for your skin.
Most of the ingredients in this smoothie are excellent sources of vitamin and vitamin C. Vitamin A or beta carotene is an antioxidant that keeps your skin cells healthy and is effective against ultraviolet-radiation damage.
Vitamin C is an anti-oxidant which promotes collagen formation which is needed to form new cells.
Romaine lettuce: Contains both vitamin A and vitamin C and is also alkaline forming to promote youthful skin.
Spinach, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, banana, pineapple, beets, and goji berries: These are all good sources vitamin A and C.
Berries also contain elegiac acid which prevents collagen from being destroyed. When we don’t have enough collagen production we get wrinkly.
Bananas contain potassium that will help hydrate, dehydrated skin.

Ingredients
2 cups water
1–2 Romaine leaves
1 handful spinach
6 strawberries
1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 carrot
1/2 banana
1 cup pineapple
1/2 cup blueberries
1/4–1/2 of a beet
2 Tbsp. goji berries, optional
8–10 ice cubes
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a blender in the order listed and blend until smooth.
